Mid-Atlantic Christian University (MACU) is an environment that will provide lifelong friends, stretch students in numerous ways, and develop memories that students will carry with them forever. Our mission is to impact the world by transforming ordinary people into extraordinary Christian leaders. We recognize that this training occurs in the classroom as well as in everyday living. The Student Life Office exists to provide a living and learning environment that will encourage students to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically. The staff desires to assist students with their various needs beginning at New Student Orientation and lasting throughout their academic career.

Our Campus Minister, Roger Burns, and Student Life Director, Andrea Strawderman, make a powerful team by overseeing our two weekly worship services and discipleship groups that students participate in throughout the semester. Our campus ministers, along with our college counselors, are available for spiritual or personal needs as they arise in the lives of our students. The student life department is also responsible for planning social  and spiritual activities as well as off campus outings for our students.

Our dormitory residence, Presley Hall, is directed by Lisa and Kendall Williams. Our Residence Hall Directors (RHD) lead a staff of Resident Assistants (RAs) that offer assistance and leadership to each hall of the dorm.

The rooms are well equipped; internet and wireless provided, cable ready, with a shared kitchen, laundry facilities, and vending machines available on each floor. The residence staff provides devotions and bonding activities to promote social and spiritual growth.

Outside of the classroom there are a number of activities available to our students. Various social events are planned under the supervision of the Student Life Staff assisted by the Student Life Committee. Our current collegiate athletic teams are basketball and volleyball, with other intramural sports including flag football, soccer, bowling, and open gyms with various activities. There are numerous opportunities for community service and ministry as well.
